Acclaimed San Francisco Artist

Trudy Craig is now working in Southern as well as Northern California.  Painting in San Francisco for over 28 years, she has designed rooms and painted “trompe l’oeil” murals in San Francisco Decorator Showcase houses, Restaurants, Hotels and for many private clients.

   GLOSSARY OF TERMS

• “trompe l’oeil” French, meaning to fool or trick the eye.  A painting that gives an illusion.

• “Faux Marbe” French,

a surface painted to look like marble.

• “Portiers” French, draperies hung to frame or inset a doorway.
